Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information The Visuals Lab ("we", "us") collects through thevisualslab.com, why, and what you can do about it. We are based in Karachi, Pakistan. Contact us at info@thevisualslab.com with any privacy question.
What we collect
- Project enquiry form: your answers (what describes you, the service you need, monthly volume and budget range), your name, work email, company or brand, website or social profile, and, if you choose to give it, a WhatsApp number.
- Job applications sent through our Careers page: your name, contact details, location, experience, availability, expected pay if you share it, links to your CV and work, and your answers to the role questions. We use these only to assess your application and keep them for up to 12 months.
- Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- Technical data our web host records automatically, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used for security and to keep the site running.
- Analytics cookies, only with your consent. If analytics is switched on, we ask before loading Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel. If you decline, they are not loaded. We store your choice in your browser.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, including one automatic email confirming we received it, and to prepare for a call about your project.
- To deliver and manage work you have agreed with us.
- To understand which pages are useful, if you accepted analytics.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we never display what you submit on the website.
Services we rely on
- Hostinger hosts this website and our email.
- Calendly handles call bookings when you use a booking link. Its own privacy policy applies to what you enter there.
- WhatsApp (Meta) is used when you message us through WhatsApp.
- Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, only if enabled and only after you accept.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted, unless we are working together, in which case we keep project records for as long as needed for the work and our legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@thevisualslab.com. Depending on where you live, for example the EU, UK or California, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honour them. You can also clear cookies in your browser at any time.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. Form submissions are sent directly to our mailbox and stored in a private location that is not publicly accessible.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
